As an instructor of higher education, servicing students and clients alike, Dr. Elizabeth Johnson-Glover of Echoes of Excellence (EOE) has been providing guidance, resources, and support as necessary in order to ensure best possible educational outcome, with the understanding of social-emotional impact. EOE serves in advocacy, appropriation, and accountability, connecting with learners and their lead(s) to develop plans of intervention and motivation.
EOE prides on promotion of success through self-efficacy.
The experiences of EOE has allowed opportunity to work with several underserved and nontraditional learners, to support their motivation and educational attainment. EOE’s sociological approaches are backed by emotional intelligence.
EOE commits to professional communication and accessibly to clients and populations served, understanding that tone and availability in communication sets the platform in establishing rapport and building a support network with partners and students alike. The aforesaid support foundation is also fueled through the offering of timeliness—responding to concerns and inquiries as soon as possible.
In presentation delivery, EOE’s goals for motivational platforms and educational environments include synchronization with the organization or institution’s culture and values. This is essential to gain a heightened commitment and develop an experience based tailored to the nature of the event and the population serviced. Beyond establishment of values, EOE is interested in gaining feedback from the client based on any initially-proposed outline and the delivered finished product that is the presentation.
In application of professional expertise for creating practical, discipline-specific connections to maximize the receptivity of populations serviced, EOE strives to keep current in applicable fields of expertise by conducting ongoing, relevant research. Additionally, EOE strives to gather practical examples to assist learners with grasping concepts being introduced.
This pedagogical commitment supports EOE’s ongoing mission to promote prosperous motivation and success, through equitable execution.
One modality that supports these efforts is EOE’s Restorative Justice model, designed with the importance in narrative and framing–a sociological concept designed to give image to the whole picture, the whole person:
